WATERVLIET CROSS COUNTRY JAMBOREE

The third and final SAC Cross Country Jamboree was held on
Wednesday, hosted by Watervliet. Picture perfect weather provided a
great backdrop for runners and fans alike as the Bangor Boys and
Saugatuck Girls each won the conference titles.
With the girl’s team race in a four way tie, Saugatuck emerged with a
win over Lawton, Hartford and Bangor. Bangor’s Aisha Hodge, winner
of the two previous individual races, continued her impressive season
with another win to seal top honors.
Rounding out the All SAC first team honors were Rachel Moreland,
Lawton; Teresa Marin, Bloomingdale; Robbie Dobbins and Lauren
Brindley, Gobles; Diana Cardoso, Bangor and Brenda Tule Hartford.
Second Team honors were Maddie Peterson, Saugatuck; Alicia
Johnson, Hartford; Frances Gawlak, Saugatuck; Marisa Corona,
Lawton; Katrina Phillips, Saugatuck; Alicia Skagsbery, Lawton; Ashley
Grabowski, Watervliet; and Alex Munch, Saugatuck.
Honorable Mention honors were Micaela Burnett, Lawrence; Theresa
Rodriguez, Hartford; Miriam Llamas, Hartford; Emily Steinkraus,
Marcellus, Aly Kent, Hartford; and Molly Atwater, Lawton.
