S.A.C. SENIOR SPOTLIGHT
Jace "Q" Quinn - Bangor

Jace Quinn of Bangor is the son of Rodney and Melissa
Quinn.  Quinn is a four sport honor student who has a long list
of achievements in the class room and on the playing field.

While at Bangor, Quinn has been a three year starter for
Coach Rocky Johnson in basketball; playing shooting guard.  
Jace received honorable mention as a junior in basketball.   In
football, for the Vikings, Quinn achieved 2nd team
quarterback and first team as a corner back after his senior
season in the SAC.

In track, Jace has set his goals to repeat his all state honors
while running the 800, mile and as a member of the 4 x 800
relay team that was SAC and regional champs.   Quinn has
also been an all conference performer in cross country.

In addition to his goals on the playing field, Jace would like to
repeat his Academic All State honors and to graduate in the
top 10 in his class.

Coach Johnson said,  "Jace is always the first one at practice
regardless of the situation".  As a sophomore, he showed up
winded and Coach asked what was wrong.  "I didn't have a
ride and had to run to practice", said Jace.  "I knew then I had
a special kid, realizing that he just ran three miles to practice
in the middle of winter", said Coach Johnson.
