Natasja Bakhuyzen - Martin
Four sport student-athlete Natasja Bakhuyzen is the
daughter of Mark and Deb Bakhuyzen. “Tasja” leads
the Lady Clipper basketball attack as the point guard
this season. Natasja received SAC second team in
basketball after her junior season. This past fall, she
received SAC honorable mention after the volleyball
season.
In the spring, Tasja is quite busy as well. She plays
shortstop and catcher in softball and is a short distance
runner in track. The amazing thing is that she also
throws the shot put.
After graduating from Martin in
the spring, Tasja will take her 3.3
GPA to either KVCC or Glenn Oaks
CC where she will play softball and
basketball. “I’m not sure what my
major will be, I just want to succeed,”
says Natasja.
Bakhuyzen is inspired by her brother
who attends her games. “My brother
and dad are always talking to me at
my games and that pushes me,” said
Natasja. Natasja has a great
motivation “It’s my life, I love it!
