Sierra Henley - Lawton

Sierra Hanley of Lawton is the daughter of Cristnal Gonzalez and
Tina Henley.  While at Lawton, Sierra has played Varsity
Basketball for four years while running Cross Country in the fall
and playing Softball in the spring.

Even though Sierra plays three sports, its basketball that she
really excels at.  Lawton girls coach, Dan Thornton, has nothing
but praise for Henley.  "Over her four years on varsity, Sierra has
come a long way mentally as a person,” said Thornton.  Thornton
adds, “She has grown into the person you see now on the floor - a
leader who has come to understand the weight of her actions,
both on the floor and off.”  “Sierra has learned to focus her
competitive emotions and use them to help better the teammates
she now finds on our team and herself, as a person," adds
Thornton.

Sierra is so involved in the Lady Blue Devil program, that at
this time, she is undecided about college.  She does know that
she would like to take the necessary steps to play basketball in
college.

If you have had the pleasure of watching her play, going to the next
level is within her reach.

Good Luck Sierra Henley!
Sierra in action against Watervliet were she
led the Lady Blue Devils with 15 points.
